Hence the seperate bowl.
Hannah enjoyed her pancakes smeared
in peanut butter and jam.
Annika being shy.
Isabel loving her green eggs and pancakes.
in peanut butter and jam.
if I were a kid.
Notice they all have the "Wood" smile.
No teeth showing.
In an attempt to be a "fun" Mom I put together a green breakfast in honor of St. Patrick's day. The kids were asking me this morning why we celebrate St. Patty's day. I have no idea. The kids had fun picking out their green outfits and eating green eggs and pancakes. Green is not the most apetizing color when it comes to food. Unless the food itself is naturally green, like lettuce, or asparagas, or brussel sprouts. We all need more green in our diets. I know I do.

Congratulations on being a "fun" mom! Leprachaun's snuck into our house and turned all kinds of food green last year. The kids loved it! It set the expectations way to high for me. They were dissappointed to find that they skipped our house this year.
Way fun! I don't know what happened this morning at our house, but the leprechaun did not make it. I was totally out of it this morning.
Mel will be proud!
You are a wonderful mama! And that picture of Hannah, oh my word that looks just like you!
Oh, I was thinking Grace looks just like you, too. She is so cute. I wonder if she will smile with her teeth showing? You are such a great mom, girl. I am proud of you. I wish I was born in your family...
Great job Amberlyn....I am not sure I would have eaten the eggs either!!!!!!!! Great memories to create with your CUUUTEES!
No worries, you are not a jerk aunt. You are a very busy person and you are very involved in your children's lives and that is the way that it is suppose to be. We still love you and we always will! :)
Too cute. You made me laugh when you said "Wood smile"
They are totally adorable!! I found that my kids surprisingly do not like green mac and cheese. Can you imagine - not liking mac and cheese.
Anyway, not to be a smarty pants or anything, but I ever knew why we celebrate St Patrick's day either, but since we are homeschooling, we studied it. I hope I don't bore you - anyway at 16 years old St Patrick was kidnapped and taken to Ireland- escaped six years later and decided to go into religion. Once he did he returned to Ireland and brought them Christianity. He was thrown into jail several times (like someone else we know) but never gave up. Turns out he was pretty cool and deserves to be celebrated.
