Halloween Part IV: Trick or Treating

All the kidlets in their costumes.
No easy feat to get them to all look good.
Grace still has her finger in her mouth.

Kids posing for the Camera with Grandma and Grandpa
Notice Jaren's fake smile.
He got mad at me for snapping at hime for not cooperating.
I had to threaten him to get him to smile.
The threat was no trick or treating.

I love this shot.
Look how the rays of sun shine down on floating butterfly!!
That is no trick, just luck!!

Hannah, decided to stay the mad hatter.

Yes, I get candy!!!

Isabel the rocker!
This fits her personality.
Although she hated the make-up
and refused to wear her glasses.

Annika decided to be the Butterfly princess.
I should have used black on her face.
She's still cute as a button.

Annika jumping for joy

Such a serious face for such a serious costume!

From Into The Woods

My sweet little Butterfly!

Grace with Brooke!!

Since only one set of Grandparents were in town we decided to drive them out to Orem to trick or treat. It was a quick visit, but the kids had fun showing off their costumes to Grandma Donna, Papa Woody and Aunt Brooke.

The Huhtala's invited us for dinner. We had a meal of sloppy joes(which is their Halloween tradition), fruit salad, veggie tray and chips. It was a good way to fill up before trick-or-treating. Then, with much convincing, I let Jaren go off with two of his friends, and Hannah go off with two of her friends. I allowed them to go through the ward boundries ONCE and then come home. Amy and I went around with the little kids. I wasn't so nervous for Jaren, but I was for Hannah. But all was well. They came home in one piece and they had the time of their lives!!! They came home with a crap load of candy. I'm not kidding. All the good candy is gone now and the rest is going in the trash.

Jaren wont be trick-or-treating next year. We said that 12 is the age limit. I'm not sure when I stopped trick-or-treating. I'm pretty sure it's when I entered Junior High. When is a good age to not go?

The kids look awsome! I don't remember when I stopped trick or treating either but I think you are right about the 12 year age limit.

Looks like another successful Halloween with great costumes and makeup. Love the photos of the sun's rays shining on Grace!
