Green Eggs? Say what?

For a long time now I've wanted to do something fun for my kids on St. Patty's day. And for some reason or another I've forgotten to. Well, not today. I managed to get up before my kids and whipped up some green eggs and toast. Jaren thought they were really cool, even though he doesn't like eggs and just ate the toast. I thought Isabel and Annika wouldn't touch them, but to my surprise, they did. It made for a fun morning. And all morning long the kids sang some song they learned at school that goes something like this: Green eggs and ham, green eggs and ham, flip 'em, flop 'em, don't drop 'em. Silly kids.

So much fun! This morning when Cory went to get milk for his cereal, it was green! Some one had changed the color during the night!?!

I think that it is so much fun changing things green. I started looking around my house today and I have tons of green in it. I think I must like the color.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

What a cute idea! I had fun adding a few drops of green to all the toilets. The kids got a kick out of it. Next year I will have to remember the eggs, very fun!

For dinner I made green pancakes and bacon. I didn't color the bacon- just the pancakes. It was fun! I thought about eggs but I just couldn't stomach them. Eating green pancakes was difficult enough!
