A lot of Hannah's world includes her baby sister Grace. She is often the care taker of Grace when I go on walks or work out. Grace loves Hannah and is constantly asking for her to pick her up. Hannah knows just how to calm and comfort Grace. I love that Hannah wants to help so much with Grace. It is so endearing to watch the two of them together.
Hannah loves her new camera. So much so that in the beginning she kept her camera on her wrist. One afternoon I found her camera on the back of the bathroom sink. I don't know how long it had been there so I took the camera and hid it in hopes of teaching her a lesson. Any one of her syblings could of taken the camera, or it could have gotten wet from someone washing their hands or just being careless. The camera stayed hidden for several weeks. Hannah asked me once if I'd seen the camera and I told her "No". She didn't pursue the situation further. Not once did she ask me to help her look for her camera nor did she seem that upset about the loss of it. She saw the strap peeking above the cupboard and climbed up to grab it. She accused me of lying. I simply told her that I was trying to teach her a lesson. A lesson which quickly backfired on me. This is a common accurence for me.
I told Hannah that I never just carry my camera around with me. I always put it up and pull it out when I want to use it. From now on the camera stays up until Hannah has good use for it. It was an expensive camera for a 10 year old. I just want her to take responsibility.

How fun! I love Grace with bangs. She is really growing up! I hope that Hannah does take care of her camera so she can keep taking wonderful photos of her family and the things that interest her. I can't believe she didn't freak out when her camera went missing!
