Kids kill me sometimes! Grace has been struggling with sleeping and napping. Just the other night she refused to go to bed. Brent took her out of her crib so she could see that it was dark and everyone else was in bed. She never left the side of her crib. Brent went back in and tried to get her to lay down and sleep. The only thing that came from that was persistent screaming and refusal. Brent went back in, took her out of her crib and stood her in her room with her balnket. Ahhh, the silence. No crying. Brent went back in after about 10 minutes to check on her. I heard some whimpering and then silence. Brent had a huge smile on his face when he re-entered our room. He told me that Grace had fallen asleep STANDING UP!!! Holding onto her blanket!! What a stubburn little stink!!!
This morning while I was showering, Grace was playing with the laundry basket and watching t.v. I heard her while I was getting dressed. As I came down the stairs and around the corner I found her fast asleep INSIDE the laundry basket!!!
This girl will sleep anywhere BUT her bed. What is a mother to do? Again last night she woke up and even had the guts to ask to sleep in my bed. I refused, Brent insisted, and now I have a monster growing.

Sounds like it may be time to go to the toddler bed. Maybe she doesn't like her crib because she doesn't have the power to get in and out. What a precious picture!
