Happy Anniversary to Me and You

This morning I forgot that it was my 15 year wedding anniversary. How could I forget such a monumentous occasion?  Brent called me from work and wished me a Happy Anniversary.  I felt a little silly forgetting.  But what a wonderfully feeling to know that after 15 years I don't sweat the small stuff anymore.  We were able to spend a whole week in Hawaii and went on a date this last weekend. 

Every marriage has it's ups and downs.  As is the truth with ours.  But I can honestly say that the tough times, while it seemed at the though brought us apart, really brought us closer together.  It's so true that life wouldn't be as sweet without the misery.  Being married to Brent has made me a stronger, more patient, and selfless person.  For that I am eternally grateful.  I can't make it without him, and I know HE can't make it without me. 

Here's to the next 15 years and another trip to Hawaii!!
