So it goes

The kids and I enjoying lunch with Aunt Kelli and Alleah

The kids splashing and having a great time

It was a great day at the Reservoir. There was hardly anyone
there. We had it pretty much to ourselves.

It's been several weeks now since the kids got out of school for the summer. I didn't think that I would survive that first week. There were so many exclamations of " I'm so bored", " there's nothing to do", "this is NO fun", " this is the worst summer ever". And in my mind I was exclaiming "I can't do this anymore!", "I'm so done being a Mom today." I thought it was a great idea to let my kids have a whole week off of schedules, chores, reading and such. But they were so use to being busy from 9am till 3pm that they just didn't know how to cope. And neither did I!!! Thank goodness for wheel chore charts, library reading programs and the Spanish Fork Reservoir. We haven't had as many meltdowns or letdowns. Now that it's finally starting to get HOT we will be spending more time at the Reservoir. Especially since it now cost $4 a person to get into Spanish Fork public pool!! What is up with that? It would cost me $24 for a one time visit for my family. I didn't budget for that! Man it's expensive to have 6 kids.

I can't believe how expensive the pool is! That is ridiculous. The reservoir looks funner anyhow. Looks like you guys had a great time!
