Year of the Beanie

The first of many beanies to come.

The bed that started it all.

This year my kids were inundated with beanies. It all started with Bingo at my parents house. Each of the kids were able to pick from a pile of beanies. Which my kids were thrilled with. One of their favorite things to do when it first snows is to pull out the beanies. They are a must accessory in the wicked Spanish Fork wind. The bounty continued on Christmas day. The boys received a beanie in their stockings and Aunt Kelli lovingly made each of the kids custom colored ones. Needless to say, our basket is over flowing with beanies and no on is wanting.

This morning as I was making breakfast Isabel was searching the house for certain beanies. I wasn't quite sure what she was doing until I went upstairs to check on their rooms. Every morning they are to make their beds. Recently I've been impressed with Beckham. He has been self motivated to make his bed, and fold his blankets. Beckham made an addition to that routine and spread out all his beanies at the end of his bed. I suppose Isabel was so impressed with this display that she too, needed to join in the fun. It was so cute to walk through their rooms after they had gone to school to see their beds made in the similar fashion.
