Education week is over, and it was WONDERFUL. I wouldn't have had such a tremendous time if it weren't for 3 very special people. The first is Melissa. She is the one that encouraged and pushed me to go. She is the one that saw that I had a need for Education Week and never gave up on me until I went. Her encouragement started 3 years ago and I have enjoyed it ever since. The second person is Amy. She is the MOST amazing friend anyone could ever have!!! Before I even got my pathetic attempt out of my mouth to ask for her help she interrupted me with, " you haven't read your blog have you? I already offered." For the first time I left Grace and was able to attend the first class of the evening that started at 4:30pm. Normally I wouldn't even leave the house until 5pm thus always missing that class. I know it was hard for her with a baby that is somewhat fussy and not on a good schedule. And the 3rd person of course is Brent. My VERY patient husband. This year was different somehow. He told me to have a good time, which didn't happen in the past. Not once did he complain or make me feel guilty about being gone. Which made my experience 10 times more enjoyable. He is growing and learning right along with me. I am so grateful to Brent for dealing with the kids in the evening. Which, let's face it, is the most difficult time of the day to deal with children. He did an amazing job and I knew I didn't have one thing to worry about because he is VERY capable human being. I love him for letting me be me and having this experience. He will get a happier wife and mother for his sacrifice and efforts.
So THANK YOU Melissa, Amy and Brent, for making this one OUTSTANDING week at Education Week. You guys are the GREATEST!!!!

I'm just glad that I was home to help! I've been missing a lot of service opportunities.
Timing is everything I guess.
What a lucky lady to have so many people that love you and are willing to help to make this happen for you.
P.S. I want all your notes from Education week. I was wishing I could go, but it just doesn't work well with a nursing 4 month old. Next year, Education week or BUST!
I'm so happy you had such a great EW and not just for the spiritual education but for the chance to be served by the people who love you: Brent and good friends. I would also like to thank Melissa, Amy, and Brent for loving and supporting you!
I am so glad you got out! I hope that ice cream and possibly El Azteca were part of the experience!
