Tender Mercies

A tradition that we have in our home before school is that Brent gives all the kids a Father's Blessing. Which I'm sure a lot of you do. Brent blessed each of the children with something unique to them and to work on during the school year. I know Brent was inspired to do this. One of Annika's weaknesses is always finding the bad in her day. Brent blessed her that she would look for the good and be happy.
Annika was the first one to walk into the door yesterday. I asked her how her day was a little anxious to hear the answer. She was quiet for a small moment then exclaimed with hands in the air, " IT WAS AWESOME!!!!". I was thrilled!!!! She also thinks her teacher is Awesome. Jaren, Hannah and Isabel also had great days!!! This confirms to me that the Lord truly does have a hand in all of our lives. And if we turn to him for help, whether it be through prayers or Father's blessings, he is right there waiting to help us. He wants to help us, to make us happy. What a blessing the Gospel is for me and my family.
