Brushing Up

After re-reading my latest post and the comments that my great friends left I realized something... I need to brush up on my parenting skills. Thank Heaven for Education Week. Melissa introduced me to Education week about 3 years ago. It literally has changed my life in so many ways. I grew up in Utah County. Provo to be exact. I had heard of Education Week since my Mom worked for BYU Concessions and she was always super busy preparing food. Never once did I think twice about attending. It never appealed to me.

Melissa is very persuasive and has a kids and husbands shouldn't stop you from going attitude. Now I am enjoying my 3rd year. And it couldn't be coming at a better time. I am so excited to be spiritually filled and uplifted. I always come away with a feeling of "I can do this". We all go through hills and valleys in our journey through this thing called Motherhood. Sometimes it might even feel like mountains and valleys. Although I am not experiencing any Mountains right I am in a bit of a lull. I am ready to be pushed into the right direction again.

Maybe it's the speakers, or the company I keep while I'm there, or it could be just getting away in the evenings that helps buoy me. It's probably a combination of everything. Either way, it's a great experience and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

OOOH! I wish I could go! I absolutely loved education week last time I went. Not so sure how to go about it with a 3 month old...

Are you going to go to the full session, or nights or what?

Take awesome notes and post them here so I can learn from afar.

I'm glad you are going!

When the kids are older, we'll have to do a week on campus like Robin and I did.

You'll have a great time- I'll plan on joining you next year. Right now, I just need to spend time at home.

Also- let me know if you need help with the kids so you can go earlier.
