Thanksgiving Point Revisited

Grandma and Grace.

Working on her sitting skills.

Hannah my only willing participant.

Annika suffering through another darn photo.

Look how beautiful the grounds were!!!

Me squeezing into the picture with my kids.
Can you tell that Jaren is TICKED OFF?

How sweet is this photo of Beckham and Grace?

Annika was so annoyed with her mosquito bites.
Isabel, "Humph, I am so not doing this any more!!"
Grace's cuteness has to be illegal.

Grandma with the busy bunch.

Just another photo that NO ONE wanted to be in.

Today was 2 dollar Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point. Anyone could get into the Dinosaur Museum or any of the gardens for just $2. What a steal!!! Unfortunately we couldn't leave until after swimming lessons. By the time we pulled into the parking lot, it was packed and the line to get into the Dino Museum was out the door and around the corner. YIKES!!!! We opted to skip that one. It was going to be claustrophobic in there. I avoid crowds when possible. Next we moved to the Children's garden, again, over crowded. Everyone was there to play in the water and get wet. Well, I didn't want to deal with that so we moved on to our last and final option. The beautiful Gardens. Let me tell you what, they were beautiful. It would have been really fun if my darn kids weren't so stinky. Again, another trip that just back fired in my face. Yes there was disappointment that we didn't go to the museum, and it was quite muggy and hot out. At least the sun wasn't shinning.
I love to take photos. I guess I love to take photos a bit too much, according to my darling children. No one wanted to be in the pictures. Kids were hiding behind hills of flowers, bushes and trees. For some ridiculous reason mosquitoes were out in force and that made half my children miserable and itchy. And to top it off, I have been grouchy for the past week. Yikes, not a good combination at all.
Luckily, I did get some cute photos of the kids. Half of them did end up having a good time. As for me, grumpiness still prevails.

Oh, these photos are precious. Jaren looked like he was ready to tear open someone's throat and the twins were irritated and Grace is smiling sweetly in every photo. What a hoot! Love the photo of mom with Grace. Thanks for being such a great mom and being willing to 'take chances' on fun.

Adorable pictures! I love the one where each kid is by a different tree!

You are such an amazing photographer. If I were as good as you my kids wouldn't be able to breathe without a picture being taken. I'm sure they will be grateful for all of these pictures and the memories they bring back as they get older.

Love the new heading picture for your blogspot. Beautiful pics with the flowers, too. I still think Grace looks like Derek. What a cute bunch of kids. You'll have to take your kids to the Dinosaur museum in Ogden. I'll bet they'd love it, and the line may not be so bad. :)
