The other day Grace started making this hilarious face. It made me laugh every time she did it. All evening she wouldn't stop making this face. So of course I had to pull out my camera and take a picture. I wonder if she discovered her gums or something. Or maybe she's teething and it feels good. Either way, it's a funny face.
Grace also had another first. For the first time I was able to tear pieces of bread and lay them out before her. She was able to finger them and put them in her mouth. It is a GREAT way to keep her occupied while I am fixing dinner. A friend of mine in Walmart ( who has just 1 child) asked me how I got things done during the day. Well that day I fed Grace a bite of carrots with rice cereal, then a bite of bread and while she knawed on that I was able to fold socks. That, is how I get things done. You find a way, and you just DO IT.
Feeding herself is not the only first she had this week. I went in to get her up from her nap and she was full blown standing up in her crib!!!! HELLO!!!!!!! She isn't even 7 months old yet!!!! Slow down kid, you move to fast!!!! This is the first time that I haven't encouraged my child to stand and walk. This is the FIRST time that I have pushed my child down. Not literally, you know what I mean.

What a beautiful smile she has! I love the new face she makes!
That face is so cute! I'll bet she feels pretty left out with all those other little runners you have around the house. She'll probably be RUNNING by 10 months. Good luck! :)
I wish Grace could come over and play with Asher and Soren so they could wrestle each other and make squinty, squishy baby faces. sigh.
